The Town of Wake Forest is excited to announce an upcoming Fire Recruit Academy is scheduled to begin in early 2024!

We think we have a lot to talk about!  Participants of the Fire Recruit Academy will receive 10 months of TUITON FREE training as they work to learn and develop the skills needed to take on a rewarding, exciting and challenging career in the Fire Service.  Not only is Tuition free, class participants will receive the following:

To be considered applicants should meet the following requirements:

• Be 18 years old by approximately January 1, 20224
• Have a High School Diploma or its equivalency
• Have a valid, Class C North Carolina Driver's License
• Be available to participate in daily class and training for the duration of the Recruit Academy program
